Italian-side Roma, is expected to reach out to the Scottish Champions, Celtic, today in regards to possibly adding leftback Boli Bolingoli to their squad.
Celtic has been trying desperately to offload left Boli Bolingoli since his escapade to Spain. After his trip he returned without quarantining, played in the match against Kilmarnock. He then showed no remorse for his actions. It is sufficient to say his time in a Hoops jersey is done.
Since that incident, there have been numerous rumours about loans and potential permanent transfers. However, none of them came to fruition. Bolingoli has likely played his last match in a Celtic jersey. As such, he is just a waste of cash sitting on the bench for the Hoops. Celtic manager Neil Lennon and the board will want to at least get something for their investment that has gone all but awry.
This has prompted rumours that Italian giants Roma are interested in the left back. According to Tuttomercatoweb the Italina-side are to have contacted the club today in regards to Bolingoli’s status. It appears Roma are looking for a replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov who is now with Inter Milan.
The Hoops would be incredibly silly to allow Bolingoli back onto the pitch after jeopardizing one of the most important season’s in the history of the club. His selfish actions and lack of remorse are all supporters need to know about the character of the player. He needs to be moved and the Hoops need to recoup some of the money sunk into the player. Anything less is unacceptable.
We here at The Celtic Hoops firmly believe that Bolingoli needs to be shown the door. The club needs to bring in a quality leftback, something they said is a priority. Here is to hoping that is the truth.
Totally agree with you. Bolingoli has to go. At worst, Gross Misconduct, at least pure stupidity. Get rid of him.
