Scott Brown- 6.5
A bit of a disappointing start to the season for the skipper. He did not look as commanding and left something to be desired. Luckily, not much was needed of him on the day and he will likely get things back to normal next week. Brown is actively getting better each match and will likely resume his usual form against Kilmarnock next week.
Ryan Christie- 8
Christie looked phenomenal against Hamilton. He will likely get little credit for his performance but he was everywhere on the pitch at the right time. His set-piece duties have been well executed and puts Celtic in a dangerous position every single time. Where Christie goes this season, so too shall the club.
Odsonne Edouard- 10
We dont’ give out 10’s lightly, in fact we have never given out a ten. Yet, French Eddy more than deserved it today as he scored a Hat Trick and looked hungry for more. He has solidified himself as not only the best striker in Scotland, but perhaps the player in Scotland. We need to enjoy Edouard while he have him. He truly has been a gift.
Mohamed Elyounoussi- 7
The winger looked great against Hamilton as he continually gave the Hamilton backline fits. His speed and football IQ lend well to the fast pace of breaking play that Celtic utilizes. He gave Celtic multiple chances in their own third during the match and he will prove to be a mainstay in the first team selection week in and week out.
